Space debris management and reuse

DISCOVER AN AUTONOMOUS, SUSTAINABLE AND FAST SOLUTION WITH EXOSAT

TECHNOLOGY

We introduce the DEFES, highly autonomous, totally sustainable

POWER GENERATION

DEFES capitalizes on the inherent energy efficiency of solar PV panels, converting sunlight into electrical power to energize its pulse laser system. By leveraging this abundant and renewable energy source, DEFES minimizes the need for additional onboard power generation systems, optimizing the satellite's energy utilization and operational efficiency.

DEBRIS ABLATION

Through the deployment of a pulse laser system, DEFES innovatively addresses the challenge of space debris by ablating their surfaces. This precise and targeted approach enables the safe and efficient removal of debris from Earth's orbit, mitigating the risks associated with space debris collisions and space pollution.

PROCESS SUSTAINABILITY

By utilizing space debris as a renewable source of fuel, DEFES demonstrates a sustainable approach to space debris removal missions. The ablation process not only eliminates debris but also produces thrust, enabling satellite maneuverability without the need for additional onboard fuel. This innovative use of resources underscores DEFES's commitment to sustainable space exploration and environmental stewardship.

BUSINESS

ExoSat pioneers in space sustainability with its innovative debris management technology

The three founders of ExoSat joined forces to tackle space debris, introducing an innovative technology to turn debris into fuel. ExoSat innovates in space debris removal and actively advocates for global regulations to ensure a sustainable space ecosystem.

ExoSat, thanks to its patented technology, enables the reduction of the Kessler syndrome (debris management and removal) while also mitigating its effects (collision avoidance).

This syndrome was discovered by Dr. Kessler during the last century. It describes the overpopulation of debris in Earth's orbit and the risks associated with this overpopulation

WHY EXOSAT?

A different approach, for a stable space environment

ExoSat pioneers by using a laser to destroy debris, but also to stabilize it and catch it with a robotic arm. This dual use guarantees safe removal of debris, allowing the DEFES to refuel autonomously and continuously thanks to this debris.
